About
Della Marsh.
Songs written in a kitchen, played in rooms.
Singer and songwriter from Pilsen, Chicago, with a band of four that has mostly stayed the same since a bar show for eleven people in 2019.

Della writes on a nylon-string guitar at the kitchen table, usually late, usually in one sitting. She brings the songs to the band half-finished on purpose: the endings get written in the room, with everyone playing at once.
The band started as a duo with Theo for a residency at Ruby’s back room, sixty people on a good night. Pilar joined that winter, Lou and Wes for the Night Bus tour in 2024. The setlist changes most nights; the people on stage do not.
Low Ceiling came out in September 2026. The Low Ceiling Tour plays fourteen cities in March 2027 and finishes at home in Chicago.

Five people, the same positions every night, so the monitors and the lights can be set before we arrive.

What they wrote
